  • Hugh Beutel

    General Manager

    Hugh has a background in the building management sector having served as an Assistant Building Manager for 7 years in a 140 lot high rise complex.  Hugh then became a Director of a Company which purchased the management rights in a 150 lot high rise twin tower complex in which he held the position of Onsite Resident Manager for a period of 3 years before joining the Body Corporate management industry in 2001.

    Hugh has over 10 years experience as a Strata and Facilities Manager which includes the strata management of high rise developments, three storey walk-ups, commercial, industrial and large residential developments.

    Commencing in 2005, Hugh was the Strata and Facilities Manager for Sanctuary Cove Resort.  This was for a period of 3 years before taking up the position of Senior Strata Manager at Hope Island Resort – both large integrated Resorts consisting of commercial, golf course and residential components. Hugh then became Queensland State Manager overseeing all Queensland operations and was appointed as General Manager of CMS in July 2013.

    Hugh is a Certified Member of the SCA and holds a Certificate IV in Body Corporate Management.

  • Tim Borten

    National Financial Controller

    Tim is a Chartered Accountant. He was awarded a double degree in Commerce and Economics from the University of Queensland. Tim is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and Strata Community Australia, as well as being a Registered BAS Agent.

    Tim has more than 19 years of experience in managing all financial aspects of Bodies Corporate, with particular expertise in budgeting and financial management of large multi-layered Community Title Schemes. He is the Company Secretary and a Director of CMS, and a Licensed Real Estate Agent.

  • Justine Wyatt

    Administration Manager

    Justine has almost 10 years experience within the Strata and Facilities industry.  As the Administration Manager, Justine works closely with all departments within Cambridge Management Services’ local and interstate offices, in particular with Strata Managers to ensure all administrative responsibilities of each body corporate are run in a professional, seamless and efficient manner. 

    Justine is an Accredited Member of the SCA, holds a Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety and during 2014 will complete her Bachelor of Business majoring in Human Resource Management from Griffith University.

    Operations Manger

    Phillip joined Cambridge Management Services in 2010. Having previously worked for Integra Asset Management as National Projects Facilities & Sustainability Manager for a portfolio in excess of $1 billion dollars.

    As Operations Manager for Cambridge Management Services, Phillip is responsible for overseeing the Facilities Management team within CMS.

  • Philippa Scobell

    Facilities Coordinator/Pier Building Manager

    With a Bachelor of Arts degree from Griffith University majoring in Modern Asian Studies, Philippa has assisted in the past with new CMS business integration and facilities management of CMS managed buildings and developments within the CMS business.

    At present, Philippa is the Building Manager at Pier at Waterfront (Stage 1 Waterfront precinct) and oversees the CMS operation at Park at Waterfront (Stage 2 Waterfront precinct) and being involved from the consulting stage, has a good working knowledge of the Waterfront developments.  The CMS Building Management operation comprises of routine reporting to the Developer, project management, management of common area maintenance contracts and contractors through to extensive liaison with the individual Body Corporate Committees for each building (including Body Corporate Sub-Committees) including the Developer.  There is also overseeing of the Property Management aspect of the CMS business for both buildings which again encompasses mid month and end of month reporting to the Developer.

    Senior Facilities Manager, NSW

    Joanne has a background in the facilities management sector having served as Facilities Manager for Chubb and the United Technologies Corporation for 10 years with experience ranging from high value fit outs/ building repairs to preventative maintenance and policies/ procedures.


    Additionally, Joanne lives and owns in a complex strata and community development near Sydney Olympic Park and has held positions as Executive Committee Members and Office Bearer on both the Owners Corporation and the community association


    As Senior Facilities Manager, Joanne has worked with Cambridge Management Services since 2013 and oversees the facilities management aspect of the NSW operations including direct management and support of all building and facilities managers and brings invaluable experience of many sides of strata and facilities management.

  • Phillip Court

    Strata & Facilities Director, NSW Branch Manager

    Phillip has worked with the Esquire Group since 1999 of which acquired Cambridge Management Services in 2010. Phillip is a licensed Strata Manager and has a background in both the strata and building management sectors and is involved with the direct management of large community sites including but not limited to The Waterfront, Wentworth Point, Balmain Shores, Rozelle and Magenta Shores, Magenta.


    As NSW Branch Managers and Strata & Facilities Director for Cambridge Management Services Pty Ltd, Phillip oversees all NSW operations and operates as strata manager for a number of the properties managed by CMS in NSW.


    Phillip is a Certified Member of the SCA and is a licensed strata managing agent.
